UNILORIN Appoints Olowoleni As Registrar

Dr. Folaranmi Olowoleni has been named by the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Governing Council as the school’s new registrar.

This was revealed in a statement by the school on Sunday where it noted that Olowoleni, a Deputy Registrar with UNILORIN, will replace Emmanuel Obafemi, whose five-year tenure ends April 28.

It added that the registrar-designate joined UNILORIN on Jan. 20, 1992, and is a 1982 graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

“She also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Ilorin in 1993, an M.Sc. in Management Science and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration in 2015,” the statement read.

“Born in Lokoja, Kogi, on April 19, 1961, Olowoleni is a native of Takete-Isao in Yagba-East Local Government Area of Kogi.”
